Rationale for Skipping
- Funds are reserved for Tribal governments or partnerships explicitly serving Tribal lands.
- High administrative burden and competition from organizations embedded in Tribal jurisdictions.
- Effort would divert resources from higher-probability grants that match SungateKids’ service geography.
Recommended Action
Monitor outcomes to stay informed about national CAC investments, but focus staff effort on VOCA, VALE, Caring for Colorado, and other aligned opportunities.
